Key Responsibilities of the Sales Manager:
- Sales Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets. Foster a high-performance culture focused on results and customer satisfaction.
- Business Development: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive new business opportunities and expand market share. Identify and pursue key prospects in target industries.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their unique needs and challenges. Provide tailored IT solutions that deliver measurable value.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with senior management to define sales strategies, set goals, and ensure the successful execution of sales initiatives. Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through effective sales pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and strategic account planning.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports, track KPIs, and present insights to senior management. Use data-driven analysis to refine sales strategies and improve performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, technical, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Requirements of the Sales Manager:
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience within the IT Solutions industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a strong understanding of B2B sales processes.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing a sales team. Ability to inspire and drive performance.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and execute sales plans that align with business objectives. Proficient in identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.
- Client-Centric: Exceptional client relationship management skills, with a focus on understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to C-level executives.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT solutions, software, and industry best practices is highly desirable.
